Bovis Homes’ Stanton Cross development faced the media glare last week, as a crew of journalists and cameramen from local broadcaster ITV Anglia descended on site.

The multi-million-pound mixed-use development in Wellingborough was the subject of a special report on ITV’s regional news show about the new community’s designated vicar, Catherine Lomas.

The day saw the team from ITV News filming at Northern Home Counties’ Wendelburie Rise location, as well as across the wider Stanton Cross site.

There were also interviews with the Reverend Catherine, on what it was like to be the vicar for a community that doesn’t yet exist, and with Divisional Operations Director Paul Soutar about the delivery of the scheme.

Discussing the filming, Paul said: “It was a really interesting day watching the ITV team put together their piece, and hearing from Catherine on her work. It was also a great opportunity for us to share with the local community the exciting future that is in store at Stanton Cross.

“With Northern Home Counties region delivering the first new homes imminently, this project, which has for so long been about infrastructure and major construction, will have its very first residents, and the beginnings of a new community.”
