A local house-builder is hosting a special home buyer event at a Worcestershire location this weekend, providing visitors with advice about how to get moving.
Bovis Homes is inviting house seekers to its Millwood Meadows location in Redditch on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th July, where interested buyers can discuss their options with market experts.
“If you're looking to buy a new home in the area, it's worth visiting Millwood Meadows this weekend to find out more,” says regional marketing assistant, Sian Frater. “Our team will be on hand to tell you more about our range of purchase assistance schemes, whether you are a first-time buyer or an existing home owner, and we can provide you with that extra support you might need to get moving.
“Along with our sales team, there will also be an independent mortgage advisor and a solicitor on hand on Saturday, so interested buyers can find out more about their options.”
Millwood Meadows offers a variety of three, four and five-bedroom homes in a range of styles and layouts. The attractive location, situated off Weights Lane, has been carefully designed with open green spaces and play areas creating a neighbourhood with charm and character.
Help to Buy is a Government-backed equity loan scheme, which is exclusive to brand-new homes. Buyers only require a 5% deposit, with the Government providing an equity loan of up to 20% of the value of the house. By securing a 75% mortgage, buyers may be able to find more competitive lending rates and make repayments more affordable.
Millwood Meadows also offers selected homes with the recently-launched Home Reach scheme, in partnership with residential housing provider heylo. Home Reach is a part-buy part-rent option, which provides an affordable way to get on the housing ladder. With all the benefits of owning your own home, this option allows you to decide how much you would like to buy, with shares between 50% and 75%. On the share you don't own, you will pay an annual rent of 2.75% of the unsold value – and you can increase your level of ownership at any time.
For current home owners, the Smooth Move scheme can save purchasers time and money with the Bovis Homes team dealing with the estate agents on the seller's behalf, as well as paying the fees when the old property is sold.
