From sand courts, crazy golf and beach hut art, to a seaside cycle route, gardens and fishing, Worthing and the surrounding Sussex countryside is ideal for water-sports, walking, or simply relaxing! Known as the kite surf capital of the UK it has rowing and sailing clubs and five miles of palm-tree lined Promenade. Its historic Pier that hosts art exhibitions and family entertainment and the Pavilion and Connaught Theatres host many productions. The River Adur offers more water-based activities and its scenic estuary is a haven for wildlife, as are the beautiful South Downs National Park, popular for walking, horse-riding, mountain-biking and paragliding. Nearby Shoreham-by-Sea is a picturesque, historic fishing town and Lancing College Chapel founded in 1868 has one of the largest stained glass windows in England, or discover nearly 1,000 years of history at the magnificent Arundel Castle.
There are a number of first and primary schools in West Durrington including Hawthorne's First School just one mile from Saxons Plain, while Durrington First and Middle Schools are about a mile-and-a-half. For senior pupils there is the high scoring state schools Durrington High School and Davidson High School. For higher education North Brook College has 3 local campuses and is an affiliate of Brighton University.

*Home must be reserved by 31st October 2019. Incentive is only valid on homes marketed up to £600,000 and is available on selected plots only, subject to availability and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, deal or incentive except Help to Buy.
