Image for Housebuilder colleagues join forces with landscapers in Gloucester to fundraise for school children with special needs

Colleagues from Vistry Group – which includes Bovis Homes and Linden Homes – and landscapers from TCL, part of IDVERDE Group, came together for a special fundraising event to raise money for The Milestone School in Gloucester.

TCL visited Vistry’s regional Cotswold office, Cleeve Hall, to present some ideas for site landscaping to housebuilder staff and to donate plants for them to purchase, with all funds raised going to The Milestone School.

The Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ rated school, for pupils with special needs aged from two to 16, is based on Longford Lane and the donation will go towards converting an old therapy office into a bespoke new cookery and breakfast club room, with full disabled access. The housebuilder has also donated more than £20,000 in the past towards the Chamwell Centre Charity, which will go towards a hydrotherapy pool, therapy and sensory equipment and an all-ability play ... more

Image for Work begins on new community in Comeytrowe

Work has officially started on a major new community development at Comeytrowe, kicking off a project that will span the next decade and see new homes, amenities and public green space created. The location’s name has also been unveiled, with the community to be called ‘Orchard Grove’.

The vision behind the 2,000-home development is to create a unique new ‘garden community’, with two vibrant neighbourhoods connected by shared amenities and abundant outdoor space. Responsible for delivering this vision is a consortium of leading housebuilders –  including Vistry Group, which includes Bovis Homes and Linden Homes. Vistry Group will be working on this project as a joint venture with South West housing association, LiveWest.

Image for Housebuilder contributes £18million to Bristol at growing Filton location and launches stylish two bedroom apartments

Bovis Homes – part of Vistry Group – is now launching a collection of two-bedroom apartments at its new Charlton Heights development in the popular area of Charlton Hayes in Filton, Bristol and will have contributed in excess of £18million to the local community over the life of the project.

Funding for the local area, close to The Mall at Cribbs Causeway, includes a brand-new primary school and nursery, plus improvements to local infrastructure, public transport, cycle routes, as well as sports, leisure and community facilities. This is further enhanced by a recently installed footbridge, creating an easy link from the location’s new homes to the new supermarket and future airfield development.
