Vistry Group has exchanged contracts on a site with outline planning permission for 204 homes at Trevarner Farm, off Green Hill in Wadebridge.
The new development will provide a collection of two, three, four and five bedroom high quality homes for the local area, including 62 affordable properties, along with areas of open space and a play area. The company will also be contributing £566,450 to the community towards education and off-site open space.

A commercial manager from Bedford who entered the housing industry after working at a builders’ merchant on Saturdays while at school, is retiring after 35 years at a national housebuilder.
Andy Hurst, commercial manager at Bovis Homes – part of the newly-formed Vistry Group, which also includes Linden Homes and Vistry Partnerships – joined the housebuilder as an assistant buyer in 1985 and says he will miss the team spirit most.

Volunteers protecting dormice in Nottingham have received materials from a national housebuilder to help them better monitor the endangered creatures.
Bovis Homes – part of the newly-formed Vistry Group – has donated drainpipe sections to the Nottinghamshire Dormouse Group to allow them to monitor hazel dormice that nest higher up in trees.
Members of the voluntary group successfully reintroduced the dormice, which are thought to have become extinct in the county in the mid-20th century, to Treswell Wood near Retford, in 2013, and two further woodlands, within an hour to the housebuilder’s Edwalton location, Edwalton Fields... more
