Bovis Homes – part of Vistry Group – is now launching a collection of two-bedroom apartments at its new Charlton Heights development in the popular area of Charlton Hayes in Filton, Bristol and will have contributed in excess of £18million to the local community over the life of the project.

Funding for the local area, close to The Mall at Cribbs Causeway, includes a brand-new primary school and nursery, plus improvements to local infrastructure, public transport, cycle routes, as well as sports, leisure and community facilities. This is further enhanced by a recently installed footbridge, creating an easy link from the location’s new homes to the new supermarket and future airfield development.

Image for Dormice volunteers in Nottingham thank housebuilder for contribution to vital nest boxes

Volunteers protecting dormice in Nottingham have received materials from a national housebuilder to help them better monitor the endangered creatures.

Bovis Homes – part of the newly-formed Vistry Group – has donated drainpipe sections to the Nottinghamshire Dormouse Group to allow them to monitor hazel dormice that nest higher up in trees.

Members of the voluntary group successfully reintroduced the dormice, which are thought to have become extinct in the county in the mid-20th century, to Treswell Wood near Retford, in 2013, and two further woodlands, within an hour to the housebuilder’s Edwalton location, Edwalton Fields... more

A customer care manager in Sarisbury Green is looking forward to meeting an inspirational 90-year-old widow she has spoken with weekly during her NHS volunteering role while furloughed.

Catherine Greenham, customer care service manager at Vistry Group – which includes Linden and Bovis Homes – traded her home owner support role for calling the vulnerable during lockdown and she has been speaking to Molly, who lives on the same road.

Pupils at Chipping Campden School are delighted that the show can go on thanks to £850,000 of funding for a state-of-the-art performing arts centre from a local housebuilding group.

Drama, music, dance and art students could all benefit after Vistry Group – which includes Bovis Homes and Linden Homes – contributed to the centre as part of its section 106 agreement with Gloucestershire County Council.

A new-build site manager from Tewkesbury is helping to free-up ambulance workers so that they can focus on life-critical calls, during his volunteer work as an on-call firefighter.

Tim McVicker, a site manager at Bovis Homes – part of the newly-formed Vistry Group – is set to drive ambulances around the county to co-respond and transfer patients to support South Western Ambulance Service staff.

A Vistry Group regional MD has donated protective kit to the intensive care unit of a West Yorkshire hospital to help support his neighbour and the NHS colleagues working there.
