Getting Around

Buses run adjacent to the development to Basingstoke Town Centre, Newbury and many local villages. Trains from Basingstoke go direct to London Waterloo in as little as 45mins, and the cities of Winchester and Southampton in 14mins and 31 mins respectively. The nearby A339 takes you direct to Junction 6 of the M3 by car in less than 10mins, which conveniently links you to London and the South coast. For air travel, London Heathrow is approx 35 miles away and Southampton only 32 miles.

Basingstoke is Shoppers paradise! In Festival Place there are high street names such as Debenhams, Marks and Spencer, Boots, Top Shop and many more. For secondary schools the Fort Hill Community School is the closest secondary school to Nightingale View for education from year 7 to year 11 and a little further away is Bishop Challoner Catholic School approximately 3.3 miles. For post 16 education there is Basingstoke College of Technology offering a variety courses from animal management, business and sports courses, a great stepping stone to the working environment or university.
