Image for Shinfield Meadows hits right note for music-mad Annabelle

Annabelle Newman is a busy woman. A corporate lawyer in the pharmaceutical industry by day, and a music lawyer by night. So when it came to buying her first home, once she found Bovis Homes' Shinfield Meadows location, the process of buying a new house proved a lot simpler than she first thought.

"I had been looking to buy my first home for a while, but with price and location very important, and time at a premium, I'd not found what I was looking for," Annabelle explains. "I had been renting for a long time and had started to wonder if I'd ever be able to afford my own place."

A keen mountain biker and motorcyclist, Annabelle was looking for a house, rather than an apartment, with a garden and off-road parking. It wasn't until she visited Shinfield Meadows near Reading that she began to see how close her dream ... more

Image for Lost village comes back to life

Named after the long-deserted Northamptonshire village, Bovis Homes is creating a new Glassthorpe community with the launch of its new location.

Bovis Homes' new Glassthorpe Grange development is situated close to the site of the lost village, to the north east of Flore. "We're bringing Glassthorpe back to life!" says Regional Marketing Manager, Heather Suffield. "We've already had lots of people ask us about the name and it's important to us that it has a strong local and histori... more
