An Exeter-based home builder helped a South Dartmouth Community College student have the experience of a lifetime when she was given the opportunity to represent her local area in this year's World Challenge Community trip.

Bovis Homes donated funds for 18-year-old Milly Tidy to purchase the equipment required to journey to Malaysia to help out at a home for disabled and elderly people.

Staff at a local home builders have got into the festive spirit by donating to the Basingstoke foodbank.

The team at Bovis Homes' Southern Counties region has been collecting items for the charity which is part of the Trussell Trusts network which works with around 438 foodbanks across the country.

Residents at the new Upper Heyford community, Heyford Park, gathered together to celebrate the festive season with songs, games and Christmas cheer at a special meet-your-neighbours event.

Bovis Homes hosted an afternoon of festive fun at its Heyford Park sales centre and show home in Oxfordshire, bringing the community together and providing new residents with an opportunity to get to know each other.

Image for Unique Imelda takes a tour of Ribbans Park

Imelda Mower is a unique little girl. The ten-month-old from Great Notley, near Braintree, has a chromosome disorder so rare that it doesn't have a name.

Unfortunately, this also means that she requires expert care from Broomfield and Great Ormond Street hospitals, and specialist equipment - much of which must be funded by her parents Rachel and Mike.

Image for Bovis Homes tree provides festive cheer as Apsley residents gather for Christmas carols

A new Hertfordshire neighbourhood has come together to celebrate the festive season with a fundraising carol concert around a Christmas tree donated to the community by a local home builder.

The residents at Bovis Homes' Aspen Park location in Apsley got together to sing carols with the Hemel Hempsted Brass Band, with children decorating the brightly lit Christmas tree with their own bauble creations. Some of the proceeds from the event are being given to local homeless charity DENS, with the rest going towards future community events.

Coopers Edge is full of festive cheer after Bovis Homes brought the community together for a Christmas event which saw residents meet Santa and his reindeer.

Over 200 people paid Santa a visit at Bovis Homes' Coopers Edge sales centre in Brockworth. As well as having the opportunity to meet two real-life reindeer, there was a barn owl, gifts for children and a hot chocolate van.

Bovis Homes has announced the opening of a new regional headquarters in Milton Keynes.

Staff from the company's Northern Home Counties region are now settling into their new work space at St Anne's House at Caldecotte Lake Business Park, to the south of the town.  The offices will be home to around 70 staff, and the opening comes 12 months after the region was launched as part of a business restructure.

Ipswich's annual Rudolph Run has returned this December and a local house builder is excited to be sponsoring the final leg of the journey at the end of the month.

Bovis Homes has given a donation towards the festive event, which is organised by the Ipswich Round Table and sees Santa visiting neighbourhoods spreading Christmas cheer on his Rudolph sleigh throughout December. The house builder has sponsored the route through the California area of the town.
